Fowler did not "cost them" Saffold. They made a conscious choice that one position was more valuable than another while also factoring in where they had a viable replacement in the wings and where they did not.

I would love to have kept Saffold for two more years. And maybe he only plays two in Tennessee. But it was a conscious spending philosophy, not "oh know we just ran out of money." Right or wrong.
