as of today, I cannot see any scenario (outside an injury or an arrest or something like that) that doesn't have the edge rushers gone. That list includes Bosa, Allen, Sweat, Burns and Ferrell. I doubt any of those get to 21.

You could see Polite making it to the Rams, but I wouldn't trust him any further then I could throw him.

Personally, I'm not a fan of drafting a NT in the first round. So I would pass on Dexter Lawrence.

I could make a case for a ILB like Wilson or Bush.

I just don't see a safety after getting Weddle.

If Hockenson was available, he makes a ton of sense. But he is gone.

THe Rams have 1 CB under contract after 2019, (NRC) but after Murphy, there isn't a first round CB and Murphy should be gone.

That really leaves 1 option. OL. (maybe 2, a draft and stash of Jeffery Simmons to replace Brockers next year is enticing)

Garrett Bradbury is a perfect fit in a ZBS, he has good size, good strength and excellent movement skills. You plug him in at OG or OC. I personally put him at OC and you have a top 10 maybe top 5 OC for the next decade to grow old with Goff.

Andre Dillard and Chris Lindstrom would be the other 2 names. LT and LG respectively. Dillard needs a redshirt to get stronger, but he would get that behind Whitworth for a year and could step right in. Lindstrom is a plug and play LG that replaces Saffold from day 1.

If I could, I would trade down for Winovich and use that extra pick to help the OL.

Geez, that’s a discouraging assessment, Dead.

I had been under the impression that a quality edge or DL player would be sitting there at our 31st pick. Been hearing that for months, strength of the draft, etc.

But I respect your opinion and if the value isn’t gonna be there then we’ve gotta go to a plan B.

I still believe strongly that we will require another edge starter. Can’t count on Ebu or Obo. So, I guess what I’m saying is that Snead may have to trade or go the FA route to get us one.

To start the season without 2 quality edge players seems unthinkable to me.

What do you think?

Edge is the strength of the draft. So much so that there will 5 or 6 names that go before pick 20.

I alluded to this several weeks ago when I wondered aloud whether Snead would trade up this year.

I'm still wondering that despite not having a 2nd. Would he give up a 3rd to grab a great pass rusher if one fell to the early 20s?
