Late guys I thought could slide rose a great deal and some guys completely bombed. Makes this year's class full of interesting scouting opportunities. I'm rather perplexed on some of these guys as a result of the workouts and also bummed that guys who were under the radar blew it up.

S

Johnathan Abram Mississippi St. 5113 205 4.45 4.45 -- 16 DNP DNP 9-8 9 5/8 31 3/8 checked my boxes for late first early second. I'd agree, I'm leaning 2nd round

Nasir Adderley Delaware 5116 206 DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP 9 31 I know he'll go high. Just think that might be a mistake. I needed to see him next to his peers. I'm not worried about the competition. He's a stud.

Ugo Amadi Oregon 5093 199 4.51 4.52 -- 18 7.21 32.5 9-7 9 1/2 31 3/4 3 cone red flag, but he has a nose for the football so I'll spot him 3/10ths ...

John Battle LSU 6004 201 4.67 4.68 -- DNP 7.09 29.5 10-0 9 5/8 31 3/4 Average at best, doubt he gets drafted.

Mike Bell Fresno St. 6026 210 4.83 4.84 -- 10 7.10 30 9-10 9 1/4 32 3/8 That's too slow, Mike. He'll run better at his pro day. Still day 3 for me.

Marquise Blair Utah 6012 195 4.48 4.48 -- DNP DNP 35 10-5 8 1/4 30 3/4 Ive watched him his whole career, happy he had a great day. I have to imagine that one of these guys who ran well will slide to the 4th. I think you are right with the 4th

Jonathan Crawford Indiana 6010 205 DNP DNP DNP 16 DNP 31.5 9-7 9 1/4 31 1/2 drilled alright ... but likely a late rounder or UDFA.

Davante Davis Texas 6021 202 4.57 4.58 -- 14 6.76 37 10-5 9 3/4 31 3/8 CB crossover.

Lukas Denis Boston College 5112 190 4.64 4.65 -- 16 6.89 33.5 9-8 9 1/2 31 1/4 clunky in drills. late round pick at best

D'Cota Dixon Wisconsin 5095 204 4.81 4.62 -- 20 DNP 33.5 9-11 9 1/8 29 2/8 I think he's a backup and teamer ... not sure what you do with a 5'-9" S that runs 4.8...

Mike Edwards Kentucky 5104 205 DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP 9 3/8 30 7/8 Maybe he falls as a result? Maybe?

Malik Gant Marshall 5115 209 4.63 4.64 -- 17 7.45 34.5 9-6 8 7/8 30 1/2 3 cone red flag. Looked average in drills. Plays mean. ST demon IMO.

Chauncey Gardner-Johnson Florida 5107 210 4.48 4.49 -- 17 7.03 36 9-9 9 1/4 30 7/8 Had a great day. He and Abram both should be in the 1st round convo. Ithink he is a 1st to real early 2nd. Love this kid.

Saquan Hampton Rutgers 6012 206 4.48 4.48 -- 14 DNP DNP 10-5 8 5/8 31 5/8 A little stiff, but on the radar late. 6th 7th ...

Will Harris Boston College 6010 207 4.41 4.42 -- 20 6.91 36.5 10-3 9 31 1/4 Blew it up. Would I take him in the 3rd if he fell that far? Literally outdid 90% of the CBs in the drills ... and speed. I still think he is day 3, early not late.

Montre Hartage Northwestern 5113 190 4.68 4.69 -- 9 6.95 34.5 10-3 9 31 3/4 CB cross over.

Alijah Holder Stanford 6006 191 4.60 4.61 -- 9 6.70 36 10-1 9 1/2 32 1/2 CB cross over.

Amani Hooker Iowa 5113 210 4.48 4.49 -- 14 6.81 37 10-3 9 1/8 30 1/8 What a great day. I had him low because I figured he couldn't run or change direction. Dead Wrong. Yeah, I like him 3rd to early 4th

Jaquan Johnson Miami 5101 191 4.69 4.69 -- 18 DNP 33 10-1 8 3/4 29 5/8 DUDE, you KILLED me. 4.69? I had friends run better than that at your position in my HIGH SCHOOL. Yes they were only 140 .. but c'mon man ... you're from Miami. UGH. early day 3?

Iman Lewis-Marshall USC 6005 207 4.53 4.54 -- 16 DNP DNP DNP 9 1/2 30 3/8 I just think he'll be better at safety.

Mark McLaurin Mississippi St. 6014 212 4.77 4.78 -- 12 DNP 36 DNP 9 5/8 31 5/8 mannnnn that's slow, Mark.

Jamal Peters Mississippi St. 6016 218 4.63 4.63 -- DNP DNP DNP DNP 9 3/4 32 3/8 CB cross over.

Ryan Pulley Arkansas 5105 209 4.61 4.62 -- 11 DNP 31 9-3 9 1/4 32 3/4 CB cross over.

Taylor Rapp Washington 5116 208 DNP DNP DNP 17 6.82 35 9-7 9 30 3/4 Love his play. 4th? He might sneak into the 1st IMO. A solid 2nd rounder, but then again I have been talking him up all year, can't stop now. lol

Sheldrick Redwine Miami 6000 196 4.44 4.45 -- DNP DNP 39 10-10 9 3/8 31 3/4 I don't like his feet.

Darnell Savage Maryland 5106 198 4.36 4.37 -- 11 7.03 39.5 10-6 9 1/8 31 Probably goes higher than we're willing to take him now. 3rd to 4th rounder

Marvell Tell USC 6020 198 DNP DNP DNP DNP 6.63 42 11-4 9 3/4 33 1/8 3 cone jumps. Burst numbers great. I have NO idea where to put him from tape. Inconsistent is an understatement. no earlier then the 5th round. he is inconsistent this year.

Deionte Thompson Alabama 6010 195 DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP 9 7/8 32 1/8 He is going to slip down my board I think, he might be a 3rd rounder. His 2nd half of the season was rough

Juan Thornhill Virginia 6002 205 4.42 4.43 -- 21 DNP 44 11-9 8 3/4 31 1/8 Wow. Moved great as well. Think he doesn't reach our pick in the third now. Solidly in the 2nd round. its a theme with the DBs this year. 2nd to 4th round all day.

Darius West Kentucky 5107 208 4.39 4.40 -- 19 DNP 33.5 9-5 9 1/8 31 3/8 He didn't flash so much in games but has had a great postseason and IM a fan of Kentucky kids ... fast enough to be a teamer only at first. 6th? 7th?

Joejuan Williams Vanderbilt 6035 211 4.64 4.65 -- 17 DNP DNP DNP 9 3/4 32 1/2 CB crossover.

Khari Willis Michigan St. 5107 213 4.52 4.56 -- 22 DNP 34.5 9-10 9 1/2 31 Great balance and feet ... rose for me definitely. 5th? 6th?

Donovan Wilson Texas A&M 6000 199 DNP DNP DNP 18 DNP 36 10-7 9 3/4 33 3/8 Bummed he didn't get to run around.

Andrew Wingard Wyoming 6001 209 4.56 4.57 -- 9 7.08 36.5 10-1 8 5/8 30 1/2 I would love this guy to be a backup, watched him since his freshman year. Instincts are phenomenal. 6th? 7th?

Zedrick Woods Mississippi 5110 205 4.29 4.30 -- 19 7.00 34.5 10-2 9 1/8 31 5/8 Stiff, but someone will draft the speed.

Evan Worthington Colorado 6017 212 4.63 4.64 -- 17 7.07 33.5 10-1 9 1/2 32 3/4 Slow, but not terribly. Big and long. Pretty smooth in drills.

I think there could have been at least another 10-15 safeties here ... Depth but no top end talent.

As always, thank for reading, questions and comments welcome.
