Is there really a big difference when saying $40m vs $38M? When is enough, enough? It comes down to comparisons of size ultimately, doesn't it? Most of us could live very well on $1M a year so when does common sense play into the equation at these levels of compensation. I know most of us live within or slightly outside of our means but somewhere reason comes into play, quality of life, comfort of surroundings, being with those that care most about you as a person, family life and a feeling that your life is set forever without any financial worries.
I know this is big business above sports competition but most of us that have struggled for a living our whole lives can see the sense of fulfillment above the ego.
