But I am hearing a lot of analysts say that Saffold is likely to be offered the highest or one of the highest contracts ever for a guard. I doubt we can afford to match that or even come terribly close.
I totally agree with honoring loyalty and that it makes vets want to play for a team. But...with the salary cap, when you start to have a lot of good players, some of them are going to get missed.
