sure maybe but remember barron was signed by the previous administration to play another position.
Two non sequiturs in one sentence, PHD?
Question before us now is whether Barron, and his salary, is our best option at one ILB position.
With all due respect my friend, I don't see PHD's observation on Barron as a non sequitur at all. You stated the Rams are paying a lot of money at ILB and his counter is that they paid him that money to play a different position. To add to that counter, a different regime paid him that money.
It wasn't a Wade Phillips led D.
I think both facts above are relevant in speculating whether the Rams would be willing to pay an ILB - even one as good as Mosley - $10M plus. My guess is they aren't willing to do that.
That said, we're all guessing. If it turns out I'm wrong I'll be ok with that because he is a special player.
I’m surprised that I have to explain this, dz.
Yeah, Barron was signed by a different regime and for a different position. Both accurate statements, but irrelevant to the subject at hand.
Kinda a “that was then, but this is now” thing.
Should, or could, the Rams swap Mosley for Barron at a Mosley price of $10M? If we can I think that it’s a no brainer. If Mosley can get more than around $10M, then we pass.
Either way, I favor replacing Barron.
