The tag is like 17mil for DE and 15.5 for LBs, so yeah not using it seems like the thing to do. Chances are he will be gone, SF ,Jets, others will pay him 17 million a year I would think. Maybe even the Raiders, lots of cap(but plenty of ones to get a edge in the draft.
