Blinkscout TEs

At first I was upset that some of my TE guys were not invited to the combine (Herdman, Sokol, Fritts, Petite, Beck) ... but then most of these guys knocked it out of the park and you could really only have so many TEs.

I like these guys that will be in the 4th-6th area. Ill bold my targets.

Kendall Blanton Missouri 6062 262 4.95 4.96 -- 22 7.37 31 9-5 10 3/8 33 3/4 SLOW. Made me happy actually he may fall. He has good hands and can block.

Keenen Brown Texas St. 6024 250 4.75 4.76 -- 17 7.27 33 9-9 9 7/8 34 1/2 Not our target, showed solid in every area but is a tad short.

Noah Fant Iowa 6041 249 4.50 4.51 -- 20 6.81 39.5 10-7 9 3/4 33 1/2 Jumped out of the building, great, he'll push a player down to 31. Showed better hands than I expected.

Zach Gentry Michigan 6081 265 4.90 4.91 -- 12 7.40 29.5 9-2 9 1/2 34 1/8 Needs to develop lower body strength ... but looked better than I expected.

Daniel Helm Duke 6041 249 4.89 4.90 -- 14 DNP DNP DNP 9 1/2 33 3/8 Just a guy. Should have had Herdman here instead.

T.J. Hockenson Iowa 6046 251 4.70 4.71 -- 17 7.02 37.5 10-3 9 1/2 32 1/4 Between Ertz and Gronk. Top 10 level.

Dawson Knox Mississippi 6043 254 DNP DNP DNP 16 7.12 34.5 DNP 9 3/4 33 1/2 Had not seen enough of him ... really fast and strong. Good hands.

Foster Moreau LSU 6041 253 4.66 4.66 -- 22 7.16 36.5 10-1 9 5/8 33 1/2 He surprised me and got on my list with his times and perfect gauntlets. Ive watched him for years and I have a bias against LSU receivers. So I needed all of what I've seen.

Isaac Nauta Georgia 6032 244 4.91 4.92 -- 19 7.45 28 DNP 9 3/8 31 7/8 His time cost him many rounds.

Josh Oliver San Jose St. 6045 249 4.63 4.64 -- 22 7.21 34 9-9 10 3/4 33 1/2 Not my target, want a blocker, but he helped himself.

Dax Raymond Utah St. 6046 255 4.73 4.73 -- 15 7.15 32 9-1 10 1/4 32 5/8 He showed up big at 255 ... hands were excellent. If he slides Im looking at him in the 4th-5th.

Drew Sample Washington 6046 255 4.71 4.72 -- DNP 7.15 33.5 9-7 9 5/8 33 3/8 Ive liked him all year, he ran faster than I expected and had a better 3 cone. He's worth a 3rd round pick, but will likely be available later.

Irv Smith Alabama 6023 242 4.63 4.64 -- 19 7.32 32.5 9-2 9 1/2 31 1/2 Not our target, had some interesting reps (good AND bad)

Kaden Smith Stanford 6050 255 4.92 4.93 -- 15 7.08 32 9-0 9 5/8 32 1/4 THIS GUY. Did not expect him to be that slow. If he falls to the late 3rd? 4th? He'd be a steal. 7.08 3 cone and hands in traffic.

Jace Sternberger Texas A&M 6040 251 4.75 4.76 -- 17 7.19 31.5 9-5 9 3/4 32 1/8 Not my target, and good thing because he's rising and will likely jump into the second frame.

Tommy Sweeney Boston College 6044 251 4.83 4.84 -- 17 DNP DNP DNP 9 3/4 32 3/4 Smiled ear to ear when he ran a 4.8 ... fast enough to play the position but slow enough to not be drafted high.

Kahale Warring San Diego St. 6051 252 4.67 4.67 -- 19 7.21 36.5 10-2 9 3/4 32 3/4 One of my "under the radar" TEs this year that now will be known because of the timed speed. So now, where does he go? SDst runs a lot. So he can block. Those burst numbers make him a special teams ace too.

Caleb Wilson UCLA 6042 240 4.56 4.56 -- DNP 7.20 29 9-5 9 3/4 33 Not my target, but his times speed and workout should have him shooting up boards as a move TE/HB. Note, Kaden Smith had a better 3 cone.


Liking what I'm seeing as far as a quality 3rd TE that could take over for Higbee in a year if he walks.
