It's been an eon of negativity for me, and for the first time since I don't know when, I feel optimistic. After my previous failures in scoffing at your optimism, I have to say that I feel like you. Plus, you've got a pretty good track record in forecasting the future. I don't. Our team has earned the right to expect us to be positive.
But I fear that my nest of optimism rests on a thin branch.....
Or, to paraphrase Jonathan Edwards, "Like a spider dangling by a single thread over the fires of dismay, so too my optimism hangs by the thin rays of hope."
