Gurley has to be hurt.
McVay watches all this game film? He watches #30 SHRED DEFENSES all season long. Then, tell me you are going to LIMIT his touches in the Super Bowl.
Don't forget he "rested" Gurley for games 15-16 to get him ready for the big playoff run.
Not buyin' what anyone is trying to sell me..........Gurley is hurt OR he's in McVay's dog house for some reason........It's all going to come out REAL SOON.
Let's assume that you're right in your belief that "Gurley has to be hurt" or is in "McVay's dog house."
Fine.
Don't you think that CJ Anderson showed McVay enough at the end of the regular season (and through the playoffs) that he's more than capable to shoulder the load in the run game? At least enough to force the Patriots to respect play-action? The play-action his QB
needs to be successful at this stage of his career?
Then why wasn't Anderson an option for an "injured" Gurley? He didn't hesitate before with less on the line against Dallas and New Orleans. Why here?
