That's what's got me flamboozled, too. I KNOW Belichick is on a coaching level all by himself. Not taking anything away from him. Belichick has proven it time and time again. Even so, McVay is widely perceived as being an offensive guru with the ability to not only game plan and scheme like a genius, but to be innovative. Lord knows I'm not an x's and o's person. Not at all. But I ain't blind, either. I didn't see anything "smart" on the Rams part on Sunday. I just kept asking myself over and over, "what the H is going on?" McVay has tried to explain it. But it's just not making sense to me.
