He took what they gave him. Mostly, he was stopped and getting hit in the backfield. What was he supposed to do? He cant hurdle everyone. McVay kept CJ involved in the hopes that one of the two guys would catch fire, but it never happened. Get Gurley some blocks, and maybe if Goff could keep D honest once in a while by completing some passes, you would see Gurley have more success.
