I don't think he was outcoached in the game; The Rams never, ever had a chance running the same plays for 2 years against the smartest defense in the NFL. Pats knew where guys were going the whole game.

McVay needs to 'adapt' to defense like the Pats, not try to enforce the Rams will on a team that is equal in defensive talent.
