The other thing that was noted on radio is the hurry up offense.
The Rams like to do this more than any other club. It can force a defense to keep a certain set of guys on the field. With McVay they tend to see a "lighter" group of defenders out there, and that can be an advantage for McVay.
BTW, All that noise that the Saints were generating can be a problem for a defense trying to get guys lined up when there's ten less seconds to do so, and your own defense can't hear what your calling.
that was London Fletcher's remarks yesterday when they played the Vikings during the NFC championship. His own crowd was at new all time "loudest ever" and Rams defense couldn't hear the defensive calls the London was making. THAT kind of loud.
Noise aside, the fact is in hurry up McVay can get a group of defenders out there that don't match up well, and their stuck cause they can't substitute.
some other nice nuggets on how the Patriots will try to line up and force the Rams defensive front in a something they'd prefer to see Donald line up in.....
