To extrapolate success or failure based on it is silly.

To say that the Pats have schemed to be heavier is also silly. We are talking a different of 1 (on the bmi scale). That is not much, if you took a 6'0" person, to change his BMI by 1, he needs to lose or gain 6lbs.

So, does having an average weight of about 6lbs, really make a difference? I would doubt it. Even if you took an offensive and defensive individual matchup and one had 6lbs on the other, would it really play into the matchup?
