CJ is like a coach on the field. And right now hes a better more consistent runner than Todd.
McVay was smart to go with CJ who helped settle Goff down by adding just enough run before McVay let Goff go. McVay went with CJ more because of what CJ does in addition to running the ball. Hes another set of eyes for McVay
This coach knows what hes doing... I love how he has evolved.
I listened to CJ on with Miller and Kirwan (NFL radio) last night on my drive home. OMG this guys is on some Marshall Faulk stuff mentally. He obviously is not Faulk or Gurley skills wise but hes one of these very smart players and has a nice combination of quick feet and vision/anticipation
CJ may have saved this offense and talk about likable... good grief
