I'm sorry I had the impression that Groh was more involved with coaching the receivers .
Re-watch the hard knocks training camp and you'll see it as I recall.
He doesn't say much and his most memorable moments come when the Rams receivers drop passes in red zones .
He slams head sets in booth.
He should have been more meaningful but he apparently either wasn't that dynamic or wasn't given much authority.
The fact he hooked up with Eagles means he kept some status , and was available.
I question how good he actually is.
Frank Riech obviously was bigger on the Eagles staff and as a coach.
