Interesting take. Would they call the other penalties ? Or would they say we only look at this narrow parameter, i.e. just the NRC hit.
If you were to bring up the other clear as day penalties committed by the Saints on the play I guarantee you would hear:
that holding happens on every play and that was a ticky tack hold on Brockers , and the hands to the face is incidental ,at best, not as
egregious as NRCs ,yada, yada, yada. Just like Peter King who said he was fine with the refs not flagging the face mask because it wasn't
that big a deal. Funny that no one in the national media is talking about the other penalties committed on that play. It doesn't fit the
narrative that the Saints were screwed. A little honesty goes a long way.
