I think there are a bunch of factors responsible for the defensive improvement.
1. Wade figured out what every player does best.
2. We got healthy: Barron, Talib, Peters are finally all in tip top shape
3. New players got comfortable: Peters, Suh, Talib, Fowler
4. Mid season acquisition of Fowler filling a big time need.
5. Young guys stepping up: Ebukam, Littleton, Johnson
There are a lot of arrows pointing in the right direction at just the right time.
