Yes, I take very little pleasure in 1999 (now)...sad and wierd, especially since I went to the superbowl that year. I can't stand watching those blow out games against defenseless teams (LOL)
McNair is like McNabb like Dak.....beating those guys is 'easy' for a very good team like the 1999 Rams.
2001 Rams would have destroyed McNair. So, one dimensional---great player, not a very good QB in 1999; he became mvp, yes, I know..but that was 2003.
The league wasn't ready for the 1999 rams....and yet, the only 2 playoff teams they played, they lost (i reg season).
For me, even with the loss, I will take the 2001 Rams over the 1999 Rams.2018 Rams are my all time fav team, even if they lose the bowl game....I had doubts after the Bear- Eagle games, but the playoffs redeemed that...and Peters and Talib are a big part of that.
