There's a lot of contrasts, as well as some similarities.

Both teams finished 13-3.

1999 was magical. The Rams started about as far from Superbowl favorites as you can get. What were they, 200-1?
And yet, unbeknownst at the time, it was actually a team littered with HOFer's and Probowlers.

Green goes down and Warner comes in as if a gift from above.

As you said, I think by the time the playoffs started, most Ram fans, including me, EXPECTED that no one could stop the Rams and that they would win the Superbowl. We were right, but it was hard.

The 2018 team starts the season as Superbowl favorites, and then it seems, is continually questioned throughout the season, as much or more by some of their own fans, as by outsiders.

So here we are. By the end, the 99 Rams were regarded as a juggernaut. While the 2018 Rams now appear to be almost gritty overachievers, rather than stars.

Can any member of this 2018 team be tagged as a sure HOF'er? I don't think so.

The future may change that.

What do they have, 3 probowlers, one of them the QB that many people can't bring themselves to believe in?

I love this setup.

I loved 1999. I didn't think anything could match it. But a SB win this year just might be more satisfying.

This SB will require the absolute most from every Ram coach and player...
