because the msised PI call was so close to the end of the game and the others not.
Its a finality thing. Its human.

since that missed call was so close to the end it is assumed to be more important than calls earlier in the game. The human mind says things could still have changed after the earlier calls but not that late in the game.
Therefore the mind associates that call with finality.
