for some reason, we didn't get the media running up to us and patting us on the back and telling us how screwed we'd been, like the Saints are getting.

SB36 was bitter, and part of the bitterness was that no one but Ram fans cared if we got screwed, it was just "hail, Patriots!"

I eventually came to terms with it.

During the broadcast, it was noted and shown that Goff had helmet communication problems. But the reaction of Buck and Aikman was just matter of fact, a description of what was going on, but no special sympathy. No outrage that it wasn't fair to the Rams to deal with that on top of already being in a cacophonous environment. No call for the game to stop until the Rams could get that fixed.

Also shown, were Saints fans with whistles. The broadcast treated it as a joke, a humorous element of the game. No sympathy for the Rams.

Facemask grabs by the Saints were briefly shown, and just as quickly forgotten and ignored.

But suddenly, the Saints get a bad no-call, and the world has to stop while they outdo each other expressing their outrage!

I still don't like bad calls, and I do complain, but then I remember that it's not something I can fix, and I move on.

I'd love to make a deal with Saints fans - let's have every call or non-call in that game be done right, and I bet the Rams still win it! Because they did!!
