A bit like Payton after the game.
One of my best friends is a cop back in the UK and he likes to say. Nobody EVER admits to a crime.
Even when they *think* they do they always add a caveat such as, 'but if he hadn't have done that I wouldn't have acted like that'. Or, if I wasn't screwed by the government I'd not have been driven to fight back' etc. etc..
Congrats to you, but btw, I'm done with the sport that provided you a win is not a classy response at all. Far from it. It's a carefully crafted backhanded complaint dressed up as a classy response.
A classy response would have been, 'Wow you guys worked hard to fight back and we blew it, good luck!' But that ain't coming our way. from saintaslive or Payton.
There is no shadow of a doubt that the Saints won at least one game this season because of a poor call or two (we all did), but I doubt Saints were throwing their toys out the stroller and threatening to quit the game over that.
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
