I just do not think it was a great performance. More than Adequate does not imply bad. I just want more and think he may be great some day but he was not great yesterday. It may be a stretch to say he was good, but I won't necessarily disagree with that too much.
IMHO , given the circumstances it was a very, very good performance by Jared Goff.
Not much more you can ask from your (still young) QB in a game like that.

Under those conditions, ABSOLUTELY. 300 yds passing against a very good defense, w/no running game and that kind of crowd noise, 24 y.o. QB in 3rd career playoff game... "More than adequate"; are you KIDDING me?!
As for plays Goff didn't make, it's the redzone run he was indecisive on that stands out to me. His hesitation probably cost us the TD there. For a young/"non-athletic"/pass-first QB like Goff to show split-second recognition, hit that space, dive for the EZ and score 6 there - THAT would have been epic.
He hesitated.

And "next time" might be only two weeks away.
