With Goff and McVay, Goff has only played well under McVay while McVay has got production out of all the QB's he's coached. Makes it logical to think that it is Goff who is benefiting more from McVay than the other way around.

.....To use Goff's 7 games as a rookie in the worst offense in the league with the worst coaching possible as evidence that he's dependent on McVay to play well?

We don't really know how he' do in another system.....but his rookie year tells us nothing. Nick Foles was ready to quit football after his Rams/Fisher experience.
