As I re-watched the Dallas game, I took note of Goff's incompletions. He made about 3 bad passes the entire game. The rest of his incompletions were either mishandled by receivers or well defended. His completions were beautiful and precise, unlike the wobbly Dak Ducks. Yeah, he looks a little less comfortable, but all QBs do when they face the type of pressure he's faced the past 6 weeks. My theory is that our OL is getting old and slow afoot. That does not bode well for pass blocking, but it is much less of an issue in power run blocking. Nothing will ever completely silence critics. Goff has the golden arm necessary for elite play. He's a 24 year old kid still developing. Most greats do not come into full stride until about year 4. He is way ahead of the curve considering his lost rookie season under Fisher. Give Goff Brady-like protection and Goff will shred any defense. As McVay grows, Goff will grow with him. Growing pains are natural. But the Rams have a dynamic combination and formula for winning for many years to come. Enjoy it. There's a Superbowl championship or two on the horizon for this combo.
