its certainly true that goff was bad against the lions and bears and average at best vs the eagles although he may have completed the comeback if natson didnt fumble that ball.
however, in terms of there last 3 games, i dont see a "game manager". i see a coach who responded to the way tteams tried to defend us and established the ground game. however when goff had to make the the throws he did and most were deadly accurate. for example, the td to woods in az was on the money. i saw that deadly accuracy again on sat night (minus a couple errant passes).

I do worry what happens when NO D sells out to stop the run. Will Goff be able to make enough clutch throws downfield to get NO D to back off? That is the question. I do think if Rams go to max protect, then Goff can succeed. I do worry however that a blitzing D can easily rattle Goff and force him into mistakes. This is his vulnerability. You often see him carelessly fumble or throw balls up for grabs in these circumstances. He will need to play smart, and correctly read the D to succeed against NO.
Im not hating on Goff, just telling you what I see. I hope he steps up and proves all his doubters wrong on Sunday.
