I've lost a bit of confidence in Goff's ability cuz of that actually. Goff needs alot to be goin his way for his style of game to work lately.
Now, earlier in the season he was that guy that could make the team go when it was lethargic...
however, since our 1st loss??? Not so much, to me anyway.
I'm afraid Goff may get that desperate Foles back-foot throw habit if the pass rush is getting to him.
McVay had better get many easy runs or short throws for Goff to keep things moving forward - without many 3rd & longs.
I think it's McVay's time to really shine with a game-plan that sticks it to the Saints defense and keeps them on their heels.
We'll see.
Goff really has no excuse for putting up weak numbers lately. CJ and the running game are downright dominant and the pass pro has been just as stellar. Rams are constantly in manageable or short to go situations and the play action is primed for success. A 73 rating in the last 6 games isn't really acceptable from his particular position. Rams are so good they're winning anyway.
