Foles had no help in the running game. Saints were stuffing the run and did not respect the threat of the run. So, Foles was left with an anemic run game and his two options in the passing game well covered. When a 35 year old Sproles, in an injury plagued season is your best option in the running game, you're in trouble.
Tate is the one that I thought really didn't come through. He was the X-Factor that had to make some plays and he just looked slow and couldn't get any separation. He's a puke so it didn't bother me to see him fail but Foles didn't have a whole lot to work with against the #1 see in the NFC.
Still, I wasn't going to be surprised if he found a way to march down the field and snipe a 1 point victory. Overrated Jeffrey volleyballed it all away though.
