Spend Friday night watching a movie or something else entirely unrelated to football to get my mind off of it.
Go into work overtime Saturday morning to get some quiet time in the office and get some stuff done.
Come home and have a BLT. Pretend it was made with Texas bacon.
Watch the early game, and slowly start to get crazy about the Ram game as I imagine a million positive/negative scenarios.
Do some deep breathing and a litany of what's really important in life in order to calm myself down.
This will work, and by game time I'll be ready to be a rock for my wife and daughter and company, who will be at our house by then.
Remind them that it's not supposed to be easy. This is playoff football.
Remind them that lead changes are a normal part of a football game.
Remind them that this is so much better than going 2-14.
Whoop and holler when the Rams excel and win the game.
Stay up late and watch it again.
Go to bed happy.
