If a team believes they can make adjustments in the running game to change the results, I do not mind it, but what I don't understand is
expecting different results doing the same thing, when the offensive line is getting their butts whipped. Doing what is not working and punting because you don't want to abandon the run game, no I do not understand.
and in most cases, you simply can't because if you keep doing what you are doing, you are punting the ball away.
To stay with the run when it is being totally stuffed, you have to feel you got a great defense and a bad passing offensive game where the run has a better chance of succeeding than passing the ball.
Put it this way, had the Eagles with those horrific run stats insisted on staying with the run, the results would have been simple:
They would have lost the game!
