I think McVay shut down Gurley for the end of the season to have him rested and ready for the playoffs.

Rams put #30 in the garage, gave him a tune up, wash and wax, new brakes and oil change and nice new tires......That way this team can ride all the way to WIN the Super Bowl by giving the ball to Gurley early and often.
