Playoff football centers on 3 or 4 major things:
1) Physical play
2) 4 quarters of intensity
3) Minimal turnovers on Offense
4) Forcing turnovers on Defense
One of the things this means is that Goff must protect the ball in the pocket. He has been too easy to strip sack.
I'm not worried about INTs. Take away his one horrible, uncharacteristic game where he had 4 INTs, and that means he only had 1 INT every 2 games. That's very good.
But it also means that the Rams are going to have to run the ball (which they do anyway). Having CJ Anderson is a wonderful addition. He can just pound and pound between the Tackles. CJ is a Pro who knows who he is, what he can do and what he can't. Whereas Gurley (rightfully) looks for the home run, CJ is a singles hitter. If the Rams were fortunate enough to get perhaps a 10 point lead well into the 4th quarter, I think you just keep handing it off to CJ for 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
