Hadn't thought of a Wade retirement.
That would be major change but maybe they'd bring in Vance Joseph or the best D coach available out there .
Maybe even consider a 4-3 return.
Might put new energy in team D even missing Wade .
Seriously what has Vance Joseph ever done? I don't get the hype....he was the DC of the 28th ranked defense in Miami before getting the Denver HC job where he then bombed out.
Don't know why people are so eager to replace a proven commodity like Wade with these types?
I’m not a Vance Joseph honk, R2K.
But I do have a question for you. In your heart of hearts, do you feel that Wade has gotten the best possible results from the talent on his roster?
Or, never mind “best possible”, how about just reasonably good results from the talent on this roster?
Or even “good enough”?
Me neither.
I’m wondering if Wade has lost his fastball and whether the NFL has passed him by, based on the disappointing results. Missing a dominant D is the only thing that might keep us from a SB victory.
There should be attractive DC candidates available should Wade decide to “retire”. We’ve seen what top coaching can do with McVay on the O and Fassel on ST. Why not consider acquiring such a high caliber modern NFL DC for next year before FA even starts? Just sayin’.
