what I like about 12 personnel...

... is it's very difficult to key run vs. pass. Granted, McVay has made 11 personnel look difficult to key on as well. But since they have a guy like Everett that can motion out into the slot, line up in an H-back type formation, etc. it gives them some possible matchup advantages. Higbee is a good blocker and if Everett can at minimum be a guy that can block off the back side then running the ball from 12 can be effective, as we saw vs. Arizona.

To me Reynolds is a pretty good WR4 in this offense that has done fairly well stepping in when Kupp went down. But it may simply be a matter of the light coming on more for Everett. In Reynolds' defense, a couple passes sent his way that were picked or incomplete should never have been thrown. Like the Fuller INT vs Chicago.
