Rams Junkie
Hey Zach, I'm sorry if I came across as unclear. I didn't intend to imply they are pretending there's an injury to Joyner. I don't see a conspiracy here. I think the Joyner injury is genuine. My thought was it is an opportunity (with the injury) for a developmental player to showcase their ability for an expanded role. And there may be an opening given the impending free agency of the current starter. Your posts about limited amounts of slots for NFL teams to pay elite players and therefore the need to chose the position and players wisely are interesting. I believe you have noted the team's ability to develop players at the safety position Mcleod, etc? Joyner had a terrific 2017 but this season may not have played up to his salary. Maybe he has been playing through something all year and signs a contract that is mutually beneficial. Maybe he moves on.
I agree entirely that this bunch knows how to find DBs. (Well except for when they just throw a high pick at a namebrand CB.
).
I probably just didn't read you right.
