Without McVay they wouldn’t even have made the playoffs last year or had as good of a year this year so far.
He has made some mistakes like not giving backups enough reps to be ready when the starters got worn down or injured, but that can be a learning experience.
He hasn’t used the tight ends enough. Hopefully it was just a ploy to get teams off guard for the playoffs.
Snead has done an adequate job, but hasn’t built enough depth and has ignored the defensive backs and safeties.
He completely failed when using franchise tags. He could have let Jenkins, Joyner and Johnson walk and he would have looked like a genius and had 10plus million each year to bring in proven talent.
Anything can happen in the playoffs and I expect McVay to get the players pumped up to play with enough intensity to win against SF and play better in the playoffs this year.
The Rams are an entertaining team and I thank McVay and all the players for making this year a pleasure to watch.
