CJ Anderson is another in a long line of RB's that performed will for the Broncos but was eventually discarded. My limited memories of him are of a good RB and not understanding why he didn't hang onto his job there. He's only 27 so he should have at least a couple of solid years left and backing up Gurley may be a perfect situation for both. Goff was a freshman at Cal the year after Anderson was a senior so they never played together but maybe the association will still be a positive.
There really isn't a whole lot for the Rams to gain by playing Gurley the last two games so I wouldn't mind seeing him get the next 2(hopefully 3) weeks off and coming back strong for the playoffs. Goff needs the work, Gurley doesn't.
