although I am at a complete loss to explain some of Goff's recent throws WITHOUT pressure. I don't think Kupp explains that, not entirely anyway.... so I definitely believe it's far more than Kupp.

Excuse some radical spitballing here... some VERY bad and non-qualified psychoanalysis - - - going by appearance, body language, looks to me like Goff is suffering a bout of self-doubt. He appears far more tentative to me of late. I can use a lot of cliche's... he's more worried about what could go wrong than what can go right.

In the movie Seabiscuit Tom, the trainer, says Seabiscuit has forgotten how to be a horse.... I think Goff has temporarily, I want to stress TEMPORARILY, forgotten how to be a QB. What he's been since his college days.

He's needs to stop worrying... I think the cure is more aggressiveness. - JamesJM

We've seen it before.

This is how a qb acts when he loses confidence in his protection and starts pressing.

Heck in their best moments various versions of the Rams defense has caused this in opposing qbs often enough over the last few years.

It's exactly what happened to Bulger in 2007 after he played well in 2006.

And so on.
