Cooper is a great player, and anytime you lose a great player, it's tough to replace -- he's no different.

McVay is a great coach and the reason he is great is he gets more out of players than other coaches. Take Woods for example, average NFL player to near the top receiver in league. Goff, a bust, to a good QB. Gurley a struggling RB to a MVP caliber player.

Still when you loose Kupp and Gurley is a fraction of what he could be because of injury, that hits, and hits hard.

The key to coaching is maximizing players abilities, but you lose 2 of your top guys and now you are maximizing below average players to average players instead of good players to great players.
