Reynolds has been a mixed bag and all in all, a decent replacement for Kupp. Not great, not the next Randy Moss but nowhere near responsible for what Goff's been doing. If Goff's game is THAT dependent on Kupp being in the lineup then the Rams have a big problem. But he's just bad right now and I don't see an excuse other than he's not getting all day to throw to wide open receivers.
I'll give him partial credit for putting up a good fight tonight after being bad most of the game but a throw to tie the game at the end would have gone a long way toward me thinking more of him. But on his 4th opportunity to get a ball within Reynolds' considerable wing span in the end zone he wasn't even close again. He has twice as many bad games in December than good one's in his career and he's playing as bad or worse than he was as a rookie.
