You mean McVay having faith in Goff to make an accurate pass being stupid? I agree. But it isn't like Reynolds is dropping well thrown passes. Reynolds was 1 on 1 in the corner of the end zone and a pass anywhere near him gives him a chance to score. I don't see anything wrong with that idea or the decision to throw to him.
If your QB can't get the ball inside a zip code, then I'm not really sure of any pass play that would be a good call in the red zone.
