Gurley #2 in the NFL in rushing attempts. I guess he could move up to #1 and pass Elliot, but I doubt that people will still recognize it.

The Reason Gurley gets so many running attempts is because the Rams don't force the run. Run only if you can get first downs. Hence, the Rams move the ball, get more first downs, which means more plays, which means more runs.

In this game, the Bears handed it to them, and the ineffective running game getting 2 or less yards and getting penalties killed drives. So the offense punted and turned the ball over because it was put in unfavorable circumstances.
