Hey RFL (brother from another mother),
I felt like I was almost reading my bio with this post lol
I hope you don't mind but I decided to give me view by just editing your post to fit my view which is slightly different (I hope you don't mind). I've got a tough, "no win" weekend coming up. I'll either be in a bad mood if my Rams lose or my wife will be in a bad mood if the Bears lose (which means I can't celebrate the victory in the house
)

As some of you know, I grew up in Northwest Indiana. I became a Rams fan in the early 70s because the Bears stunk. But, I still always have a soft spot in my heart for them because my dad and my wife are Bears fans (and I liked Walter Payton).
Now, I've watched them every game. I am pretty convicted that Trubisky is going to be a good QB. He is inaccurate at times but can run for big gains and toss the occasional big pass.
By contrast, the HC (Nagy) is running a very, very smart offense. He gets a lot of running plays through misdirection and breaks receivers open.
And then Trubisky misses them some of the times but is getting better when compared to last year.
Their defense is very good. It's hard to say how good, but they are very solid. But if they trot Trubisky out there, they might pull an upset since he is much better than Chase Daniels. He is the kind of guy who can beat you if you give him 2-3 big play opportunities. But in some games, he cannot sustain any sort of consistent offense.
