As some of you know, I grew up in Chicago. I became a Rams fan in the late 60s because the Bears were boring. But, I still always have a soft spot in my heart for them.
Now, I've watched them a couple of times. I am pretty convicted that Trubisky is a really poor QB. He is woefully inaccurate and can do little but run and toss the occasional big pass.
By contrast, the HC (can't recall his name) is running a very, very smart offense. He gets a lot of running plays through misdirection and breaks receivers open.
And then Trubisky misses them half the time. I swear if they had a top half QB they's be an offense to be very wary of.
Their defense is good. It's hard to say how good, but they are very solid. But if they trot Trubisky out there, I'll be pretty confident. He is the kind of guy who can beat you if you give him 2-3 big play opportunities. But he cannot sustain any sort of consistent offense.
