Would you let Peters walk at the end of the season

December 01, 2018 08:57AM
I think some mediocre or average play may be a blessing in disguise.

Letting Joyner, Barron and probably Suh walk frees up a ton of cap space to get Goff tied up later on.

But would you let Peters walk and free up more and remove the need to extend him?

If his form isn't injury related, then I would.

Here's what I think the Rams have to avoid at all cost, sunk cost fallacy.

If he's not worth the money, he's not worth the money. We MUST NOT allow the fact we have given up a 2nd to get him impact the decision.

Too many players in this league get more money than they're worth and more playing time than they deserve because of what they cost either in compensation or the original Draft pick that was coughed up

There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
