Those two kids are important for the Rams longer term. They're the top 2 game day backups and ideally future starters. It's great that Noteboom gets work at 4 spots and as the OL's 6th man that has to be the case. But at some point he needs to get settled into a position.
I think Allen has the tools, demeanor and work ethic to become their starting center. His time learning from Sullivan is invaluable. He's a guy that needs a big offseason and OTAs to further develop his NFL body/strength.
NB and Allen are both up after 2021, which probably means if one or both work out that they they get signed in 2021 with cap hits for the extension starting in 2022.
That further complicates the "top contracts" scenario.
