Wow. Signature win ...
We've had two prime time games this year that I got as lost in as I would a playoff game (Vikings). It's an awesome extra. It's also great to see the future of the NFL in a single game with young QBs.
I literally said I had no idea how to write this game up, and I know Im going to miss a ton.
The Great
1) Donald. The difference in the game was the two forced fumbles.
2) Ebukam. Seriously ... 2 TDs.
3) Goff. Mainly ... his mindset in the 4th quarter. He was showing signs of tiring, losing focus, and he pulled himself back together and made a couple perfect passes.
4) Everett's 2 TDs.
The Good
5) Going for the win by passing. I did the math. We run 3 times, gives them 65 second and no timeouts. They only need a FG to tie. 40-50 yards in 65 seconds is not difficult.They had scored TDs in 4 plays or less what ... 4 times? Also factoring in? We can complete easy passes. I trust us completing easy passes because we have a great hands group. First down wins the game.
6) Managing in game injuries.
7) Higbee making his presence felt a little.
8) Josh Reynolds alllllmost with two TDs ... man that was close.
9) JJ3 and Littleton on the TD stop ... really.
10) Troy HIll tackling.
11) Punting and Punt coverage on Tyreek ...
The Bad
12) Suh and Barron not really showing up anywhere.
13) 51 points.
14) 6 passing TDs?
15) Giving up the 4th and 5.
The Ugly
16) Not being able to successfully cover Tyreek Hill.
17) Needing 5 Turnovers to win. Kinda scary.
College
18) Rivalry weekend. Eat leftovers and skim channels. There are some great games from last week Im going to go back and watch. Given what i'm seeing ... we can trade down from 32 and aim for picks around the 100 mark.
