I really like both football players.
Reynolds is what he was is college. He can stretch the field and shows up in the redzone, Kupp just outworks everyone.
As far as upside, I think Kupp is basically what Kupp is now. He has been a coach on the field from day 1. remember helping line up Watkins last year? he's just so smart with a love for running great routes. He will never be a ultra athletic true #1, (his 3 cone at the combine says he is more athletic then anyone will give him credit for) but I think he knows what he is and father time really will have little effect on him for a decade long career.
Reynolds flashed monster games in college and I think he is more athletic, but he is going to have to work like heck to end up with a career like Kupp. I think they both project as #2 or #3 WRs.
The thing about McVays offense is there really isn't a true #1 WR. he runs 11 personnel 95% of the time. And we know he covets a deep threat like Cooks to make it go. I know there are threads talking about who the "best" Rams WR is and there is no best, each one compliments the others, but without that deepthreat, McVays spacing scheme offense is dead in its tracks. Thats why they bog down in the redzone. Woods and Kupp thrive on the underneath stuff while Cooks takes the top off. Reynolds is a much needed redzone target that with some added strength and weight could become a real weapon as well. Heck, he already is flashing it now.
